Vogue - In Austin, a Rally to Protect Abortion Rights was a Family Affair

In October 2021, I documented the Women’s Rally for abortion rights at the Texas Capitol which was organized in response to Governor Greg Abbott signing bill SB8 into law. SB 8 is one of the most extreme abortion bans in the U.S., banning abortion in Texas at approximately six weeks — before most people even know they’re pregnant — with no exceptions for rape, sexual abuse or incest.
